About the Artist

I'm Leilani — tattooer, painter, animal + nature lover.

I’m Leilani

I am based out of Vancouver, B.C., Canada. Through my work I explore self-expression, nature, freedom, beauty, and storytelling. My goal is to make timeless tattoos and art that celebrate the vibrancy of who we are.

My inspiration is sparked by a deep desire to be inspired and to inspire others to freely express themselves in the world. With my tattoos I hope to tell a story — your story — aimed to offer a space for you to be seen.

From Sketch to Skin

Forget flash. This is fine art.

Artful floral design for skin and canvas — every piece begins as a hand-drawn sketch, crafted to be felt, not just seen.

Soft white poppies emerging from deep shadow — the mood of Leilani's floral realism

At Leilani Tattoos & Art, florals are not arranged — they are composed. Rooted in realism and drawn for the body, each design grows with you, softening beautifully over the years.

You may NOT have this procedure if: you are under 18; you are pregnant or breastfeeding; have been on Accutane within the past year; have HIV or Hepatitis or any other infectious or viral diseases; are undergoing chemotherapy; you are epileptic; you are taking medications that may affect how your skin responds to blood clotting and healing; you develop infections easily; or if your previous tattoo is too dark or thick (please email us a photo for coverups).

To confirm and hold appointments and to start the design process, a deposit is needed to secure all bookings. All e-transfer deposits should only be sent to [email protected]. The deposit holds your spot and can be applied to your tattoo sessions. Once a deposit is paid, you are in agreement with all terms and policies. Deposits are non-refundable — no-shows and last-minute cancellations result in a loss of deposit. If the entire tattoo must be redesigned on the first day of the appointment and another appointment is required due to the drastic change, the deposit is forfeited to cover the redesign time; minor changes on the first day do not affect the deposit.

If you need to reschedule, we require 72 hours notice before your appointment with no loss in deposit. You can reschedule twice in one calendar year without losing your deposit. No-shows and cancellations within the 72-hour window result in a loss of deposit, as deposits are non-refundable.

Do not consume caffeine or alcohol for 24 hours prior to your appointment to prevent excessive pain and bleeding. Moisturize your skin for one week prior for best results — Bio Oil or any non-scented cream is ideal. Do not take Advil or other blood thinners such as Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen (unless medically necessary) 48–72 hours before your procedure; extra-strength Tylenol can be taken if you have low pain tolerance. Avoid exercising the day of the procedure, and avoid chemical peels, laser skin resurfacing, vitamin E, retinols and fish oil for at least 4 weeks before your appointment. Please read the aftercare guide and arrange your schedule around the healing stages — there is downtime for every procedure.

Leave second skin on for 4 days after the last tattoo appointment. Remove it slowly, wash the fresh tattoo with warm water and non-scented soap, and apply a non-scented lotion. Keep the tattoo clean and moisturized 1–2 times a day. Avoid sweating, pools, saunas, baths and animal hair for 2 weeks. Do not scratch your tattoo, do not let other people touch it, and always touch it with clean hands.

All clients are entitled to one free touch-up, which is a 15-minute to 1-hour appointment. After 6 months, and after the first free touch-up, additional touch-ups are charged at the original day rate. After 6 months, touch-ups are no longer free.
